Situated on the Li River, Yangshuo is a village of narrow cobbled streets, markets, guesthouses and cafes with a relaxed pace of life. Explore the surrounding countryside of mountains, winding rivers, emerald rice paddies, farms and traditional villages on foot, by boat and bicycle; a very relaxing end to an exciting tour.

About the tour
Optometry in China is developing and growing fast with a number of education programs, encouragement from government and international commercial and academic partnerships. Much of the development of Optometry within China has been influenced by the US, UK, Canada and Australia. This escorted tour led by David Shannon takes you to some of China’s leading Optometric Institutions including universities, clinics, hospitals, retail practices and a Chinese Medicine Hospital. Travel to four distinct regions of China from dynamic Shanghai, to imperial Beijing, historic Xian and beautiful Guanxi Province. See both ancient history as well as sophisticated modern cities; stay in top class hotels, sample wonderful cuisine and see the sights of this fascinating country.
