About the tour
Arrive in the seductive 'Paris of South America' and spend a few days enjoying its sophisticated charms. Enjoy fine wine tasting and excellent dining, visit Recoleta Cemetery, the British Hospital and the artist's quarter; and wander along gracious boulevards, stop at fashionable cafes, and see the legendary tango performed in its home town. Fly to the beautiful colonial city of Salta and enjoy its vibrant culture and sophistication. Explore Tierra del Fuego at the end of the world and take a boat trip along the Beagle Channel. In Patagonia, visit spectacular glaciers and cruise past vivid blue icebergs. Throughout the tour, which is run in association with the Royal Society of Medicine, Robin Williamson and local speakers will provide a number of clinical and cultural talks. There are also a number of professional medical visits.
